Quality Policy
The Board of Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira S.A. defines its main strategy and objective as consolidating and ensuring the continuity of the company as a financially sustainable business unit, attentive to its social responsibilities and, fundamentally, committed to the following: for its employees, a work environment where everyone feels individually valued as part of a shared purpose; for its customers, the provision of high-quality products at fair, non-speculative prices. We aim to give customers security and complete satisfaction, and we would like to have, in every customer, a friend.
As a consequence of the above, CARM is committed to complying with all applicable requirements, as well as continuously improving the effectiveness of its Quality Management System.
CARM develops actions that ensure the production of products that comply with legal, safety, and customer requirements. These actions are translated into:
- Raise awareness, provide training and education, implement a food safety culture, and create good working conditions that support the personal fulfilment and satisfaction of all employees, so they can carry out all assigned activities properly, in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure that company employees comply with hygiene, occupational safety, and food safety standards in accordance with ethical values and individual responsibilities.
- Produce compliant and authentic products, following established procedures, applicable legal standards, and agreed contractual requirements.
- Provide our customers with competitive products of high quality that help strengthen the company’s image in the market.
- Continuously improve product quality, minimising potential failures to the greatest extent possible.
- Improve profitability and promote cost reduction.
- Position the company within the local community as a hub for development and job creation, while safeguarding environmental protection and food safety.
- Maintain a sustainable management approach at all times, based on a continuous improvement process.
- Use natural resources efficiently and minimise waste production.
- Protect biodiversity.
- Promote long-term relationships with employees, suppliers, and local associations.
To ensure that the entire process is real and effective, internal audits are carried out based on the applicable procedures. These audits allow the evaluation not only of the correct performance of each employee, but also whether the implemented standards are sufficient to minimise consumer risk, based on the Codex Alimentarius, from which HACCP and IFS Food derive.
The Quality Policy is displayed on the company premises.
